Tools Needed

  • Driver Drill with #2 Phillips Bit
  • Flat Blade Screwdriver
  • Level

Steps

Door Adjustment (If the door is not closing properly)

0:21 | Step 1: Locate and remove hinge covers from the door hinges.

0:33 | Step 2: Loosen all screws that mount the hinges to both the door and the unit.

0:43 | Step 3: Carefully adjust the door in and out, and side to side taking note of the door leveling and any gaps.

0:51 | Step 4: With the door in a level position, retighten the screws loosened in Step 2.

0:59 | Step 5: Test the door for proper sealing and closure. Re[peat steps 2 – 4 as needed.

1:05 | Step 6: Once the door seals properly and is level, reinstall the hinge covers and return the unit to service.

Latch Adjustment (if the door is not latching properly)

1:16 | Step 1: Locate the door latch and screw for the J-Hook on the bottom side of the latch. Loosen the screw.

1:27 | Step 2: Carefully adjust the J-Hook in and out, tightening the screw and then testing the closure of the unit.

1:33 | Step 3: Repeat Steps 1 & 2 as needed.

1:40 | Step 4 Once the floor handle properly locks onto the latch, confirm the J-Hook is sufficiently high and in place. Test the door for proper sealing and return the unit to service.
