Steps

Replacing Casters (Non Refrigeration)

0:24 | Step 1: Remove all racks, tray slides, and/or shelving inside the unit. Place the unit onto its back, using a buffer such as cardboard or styrofoam to prevent scratches to the outside of the unit.

0:35 | Step 2: Using a socket wrench, remove the four nuts and washers mounting the caster to the unit. Remove and discard the caster.

0:51 | Step 3: Install new caster, making sure studs line up with the caster plate. Use nuts and washers removed in Step 2 to mount in place.

1:16 | Step 4: Place the unit upright and test for functionality.

1:25 | Step 5: Reinstall all racks, tray slides, and/or shelving inside the unit. Return to service.

Replacing Casters (Refrigeration)

1:30 | Step 1: Remove all racks, tray slides, and/or shelving inside the unit. Using a lift, raise the unit in the air for clearance tall enough for tools underneath the unit.

2:01 | Step 2: Using a socket wrench, remove the four nuts and washers mounting the caster to the unit. Remove and discard the caster.

2:17 | Step 3: Install new caster, making sure studs line up with the caster plate. Use nuts and washers removed in Step 2 to mount in place.

2:37 | Step 4: Set the unit back down and remove off the lift. Test for operationality.

2:45 | Step 5: Reinstall all racks, tray slides, and/or shelving inside the unit. Return to service.
