0:17 | Step 1: Open the unit and remove the heart tunnel assembly exposing the element and blower housing.
0:24 | Step 2: Remove the side panel and locate the motor assembly.
0:31 | Step 3: Remove the motor connections at the terminal block, making note of their positions.
0:38 | Step 4: Disconnect the element connections and remove the element by taking off the nuts and washers and pulling it out from the blower housing.
0:59 | Step 5: Remove the bolts holding the blower housing to the sidewall and set them aside.
1:07 | Step 6: Locate the set screw on the fan blade. Loosen and remove the fan blade from the motor shaft.
1:15 | Step 7: In the access panel, remove the bolts holding the motor in place and pull the motor assembly out.
1:25 | Step 8: Locate the set screw for the rear fan blade. Loosen and remove the fan blade from the motor shaft.
1:32 | Step 9: Install the rear fan blade on the new motor, locking it in place with the set screw.
1:38 | Step 10: Install the new motor, using the bolts from Step 7 to secure it in place.
1:47 | Step 11: Inside the unit, install the front blade onto the motor shaft, locking it in place with the set screw. (Ensure the blade spins free and clear of obstruction)
1:54 | Step 12: Remount the blower housing with the bolts used in Step 5.
2:03 | Step 13: Reinstall the Element through the blower housing, locking it in place with the nuts used in Step 4.
2:18 | Step 14: Reconnect the element connections.
2:25 | Step 15: Reconnect the motor connections to the terminal block, making sure the wiring is clear of the rear blade.
2:36 | Step 16: Restore the power and test the unit for operationality.
2:43 | Step 17: Reinstall the side panel and heat tunnel assembly, then return the unit to service.
